Facilities

Actually the faculty has its own building with 3 lecture rooms, 12 seminar rooms a criminology lab, a laboratory provided with 12 computers, offices for the professors, a festivity hall with all the utilities necessary for the progress in good condition of the didactical activities and the research activity.

The number of seats in the lecture, seminar and laboratory rooms is correlated with the size of the work group. The students also have access to the material basis of the Prosecutor's Office of the Law Court of Bihor and also of the Police's, of the Lab of The Legal Medicine for developing some case studies and practical activities.

In the Library of Oradea University there are more than 1000 titles of specialty books, with enough copies for documentation.

The students' documentation is assured by the specialty literature that exists within the University of Oradea - more than 7000 books at the Library of Bihor County, the libraries of Bihor Law Court and of the Bar of the lawyers.

The disciplines stipulated in the curriculum are covered completely with bibliographic aids, found in the library in a number of copies, which assures the appropriate conditions of studying. Moreover, the data basis set up in the computer network from the computer lab assures the rapid and easy access to information concerning the books and the articles of specialty come out on a certain topic, also to juridical practice concerning the respective topic.

Also, the Library of the University provides several subscriptions at special magazines from our country and nine from abroad which can be consulted by the students and the academic staff, such as: "The Right", "The Commercial Right Magazine", "Work Relations", "Droit social", "Revue Francaise de droit constitutionnel" etc.

The documentation of the students of the Faculty of Law Sciences of Oradea is also facilitated by the existence of the Library of the University, of the scientific bulletins containing papers published at the other faculties of the same type from our country, and also specialty papers from abroad.

As part of the close collaboration with The Faculty of Law of Babes - Bolyai University from Cluj Napoca, an important place has the exchange of specialty magazines, which has developed between our faculties.
