The Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence

International Relations

The Faculty of Law Sciences had lately developed a constant activity initiating some relationships with faculties and institutions with jurisprudence and political profile from our country and abroad. The academic staff from our faculty participates intensely in scientific conferences and symposiums organized in our country and abroad.

There is a good collaboration between our faculty and the University of Reims - France and with that one from Szeged - Hungary. This collaboration is based on cooperation agreements which stipulate staff and students exchanges, exchanges of courses, the collective research activity of elaborating studies and specialized works, the initiation and the elaboration of common research programs.

According with the collaboration agreement with the San PioV University of Rome, a Romanian-Italian research staff is about to be formed, one of the suggested projects, on the Human Rights being supported financially by The European Community.

Also within the collaboration agreements, the students of our faculty benefited by the direct relationships with a lot of academic staff from abroad (USA, Canada, Hungary, Italy and France) who delivered a lot of conferences.

During the academic year 1997/1998, seven university professors from abroad delivered conferences and since 1998/1999, 14 foreign professors have delivered conferences. The professors of our faculty were invited to lecture at universities from Fribourg (Switzerland), Rome (Italy), Reston (Virginia, USA), The Republic of San Marino, Szeged (Hungary) and as a result of their interest some of them have been entitled associated professors.

The teaching staff of our faculty comprises active members of varied national and international associations as:

    • The Tourists Association from Romania
    • The Italian Association for the Human Rights
    • The International Association of Lectology
    • The Romanian - Belgium Friendship Association, University Section.
