Association of International Students Oradea

AIMSO, Association of International Students, Oradea was founded in November 2006 to represent foreign students and their views. It is a integrated as a department of ASMO, the association for Romanian medical students in Oradea. They represent the international students in the Faculty Council. They act as representatives and bring forward students’ ideas to the administration while cooperating with them to ensure the quality of our education while minimizing any shortcomings. In addition, they organize activities and events which enable different nationalities to socialize.In the end, their goal is build relationships of mutual understanding. AIMSO is mainly funded by the income of the various seasonal activities and events, such as themed parties, intramural sport tournament and barbecues. Any surplus is used to maintain the website, and Wi-Fi in the building or procure items which students in their learning process such as projector screens. Beginning from the end of April we will have 3 weekends full of various sport tournament including football, pool, bowling, cricket and volleyball. As the final event of the year, we will have our 6^th annual barbecue. We will have tons of food and entertainment. We hope to see you there.
